Dylan Bowen
Dylan Bowen makes slip decorated earthenware using both traditional and contemporary materials and techniques. He works on a small but ever mutating range of shapes, some work is wheel thrown, other pieces cut or carved depending on what is required. Slip is applied in wet layers using a combination of trailers, pouring and brushing. Dylan’s work has its roots in the slipware tradition but with many contemporary and diverse influences. He is a fellow of the CPA and exhibits widely in the UK and abroad.
