Erum Aamir
Erum Aamir is a ceramic artist whose hand-built porcelain forms are inspired by the hidden architectures of the natural world. With a background in physics, she brings a scientific eye to her practice, translating microscopic structures – such as pollen grains and plant cells – into fragile yet resilient vessels. Working in thin, translucent layers infused with ceramic stains, Aamir preserves porcelain’s purity while embracing the kiln’s unpredictability as a collaborator. Her practice bridges art and science, precision and poetry, inviting viewers to look more closely at the overlooked patterns that shape life and to rediscover wonder in the smallest of structures.
Erum Aamir is a Selected Member of the Craft Potters Association.
