Simone Krug-Springsguth sees her work as a symbolic expression of inner and outer worlds. The interpretations go in different directions because it’s exciting to change the perspective. But at a certain point of penetration, the essence of exploration comes together.
„Vessel is a space – space is a vessel“
Vessels whose depth can also be an emotional space, a stop for things or thoughts. The starting point for the respective objects are usually artifacts or special old finds. They give the object a certain history and are, so to speak, the doors to other spaces/worlds and times. Each object is therefore full of originality and mystery.
