Ania Perkowska
Ania explores themes of ritual, gathering, exchange and loss using universal and cross-cultural forms: goblets, chalices, memory stones.
These objects for ceremony, mourning and celebration are holding traces of touch, time, and shared histories. Their surfaces record gestures, erosions and repairs.
Working primarily in stoneware, Ania treats the pot both as an archive, an offering and the invitation to participate. Many forms evoke familiar organic and natural shapes, recalling bodily and environmental rhythms without fixed reference. The forms gather within installations like assemblies and encourage to be touched, held, rearranged.
Ania Perkowska is a Selected Member of the Craft Potters Association.
