Lou Power
Almost three decades ago Lou Power graduated from her ceramics degree at Cardiff. Her relationship with clay came full circle in 2023 when she finally responded to a decades long calling.
Power is interested in what exists between shapes and buildings, the negative space, the fabric of the man made structure, where architecture meets the wide open expanse of sky.
Lou hand builds her wall pieces and sculptural shapes. Her colour palette remains neutral to allow the eye to focus on shape, form, light and texture and to compliment the origin of the clay from the earth.
