SaeRi’s work intertwines personal narrative with cultural influences, exploring the impact of “Good Child Syndrome” shaped by her Korean upbringing. Through deconstructing and reimagining traditional Korean ceramics, she symbolises liberation from inherited constraints, creating space for healing and self-discovery. Her practice embodies resilience and transformation, where fractured pottery contrasts with the iris flower, a symbol of hope and renewal. SaeRi’s art invites reflection on identity, growth, and the beauty that emerges from vulnerability.
