Jane Sheppard
Jane works with the ancient process of coiling to produce large scale vessels and sculptural pieces that reference our primal emotive responses. All work is unglazed, exposing the fundamental clay properties for direct engagement. She focusses on prehistorical artefact as a vehicle for potent mystery, exploring our relationship with the magical, sacred and deeply human. Material and form combine to reflect our common humanity.
