Rachel Peters
Inspired by the clean lines and natural materials of Danish design, Rachel seeks to create works that are both beautiful and calming. She finds harmony in soft forms, biomorphic shapes, and muted colours, allowing the materiality of the clay to shine through.
Hand-built through coiling, her vessels and sculptures are a testament to slow, meditative craftsmanship. Abstract biomorphic sculptures, reminiscent of organic forms or human figures. The focus is on form and texture – elegant shapes that need no decoration, adorned with the subtle nuances of grogged stoneware and a muted palette.
