Barry Stedman
Barry makes work that is inspired by colour and painting. Using earthenware clay, the vessels he makes are wheel thrown and altered or constructed from slabs. These are then transformed with soft brushes, vibrant coloured slips, stains and oxides, before a being glazed with a rich, bright, soft transparent glaze.
