Daniel Boyle

Over the last twenty-five years, Daniel Boyle’s focus has been on developing his salt glazing in his studio in West Wales, aspiring to create contemporary works pushing the boundaries of traditional salt glaze techniques.

Vibrant slips and ash glazes are used that encourage the firing process to connect with the pots. The touch of the fire leaves its mark on the ware – eroding, flooding and weathering their surfaces, producing works to be explored beyond their surface.
