Enrique Perezalba Red
My works splits between studio ceramics and sculpture.
My sculptural work requires months of work to be completed while
being also a potter allows me to be more spontaneous, letting me focus primarily on the material and the craftmanship of ceramic.
The collection i would like to show at cal is titled ode to plastic.
This collection is based on the original designs of miniature disposable plastic bottles and the wooden crates used in some asian countries to transport large ceramic pots.
I try to turn something disposable/worthless into something extraordinary
