Qi Fang Colbert
Qi Fang Colbert is a Northumberland ceramicist, artist, illustrator and PhD Fine Art. Qi specialises in hand-built original narrative and conversational mid-fire stoneware that are free-hand carved with intricate illustrations, inlaid with slip and hand-painted with underglaze. Her playful organic-shaped works interpret the relationships between humans and the natural world – informed by her personal experiences and research. Her unique free flowing approach is inspired by her Stream of Consciousness drawing and Taoism.
