Sara Moorhouse
Through her work, Sara continues to explore the visual and spatial effects of colour on three-dimensional form. Underpinned by the colours in landscape scenes, Sara has recently developed a new colourway from drawings she made of the Yorkshire landscape in the summers of 2024-25. The brilliance of these colours juxtaposed with subtle areas of pale blue create parts that appear to hover with translucency and those that appear to glow. Through another colourway Sara is exploring colour relativity and illusion, whilst in others she is examining the illusory effects of gloss next to matt surfaces.
