Sue Mundy

Sue’s work draws on the quiet resilience found in trees and bones – natural forms shaped by time, marked by fragility, and carrying the memory of growth and decay. Through slow, receptive hand-building, each piece unfolds gradually, shifting in form and direction like something growing unseen. Working in white stoneware, Sue textures the surface with slips and oxides, allowing lines and marks to settle like stories weathered into bark or bone. A soft matt glaze often finishes the work, holding these quiet traces in stillness and silence.
